SVP, Health & Wellness
As Senior Vice-President for Health & Wellness, Jill Turner-Mitchael is responsible for Merchandise of Consumables, which would include Paper, Laundry/Commercial Cleaning, Pet, Baby, Health & Beauty Aids, Over the Counter Medications, Restaurant Supplies, Optical, as well as, Operations for Pharmacy and Optical. She previously served as the RGM Vice-President in Operations for Sam’s Club until her promotion in January 2008 to her current position.
Jill has 11 years experience in Wal-Mart Pharmacy Operations and 7 years in Sam’s Merchandising and 2 years in Sam’s Operations.
Jill is married to Steve Mitchael (whom also works for Wal-Mart as the Director of Design) and has 3 children: Lauren (24), Jake (21), & Ava (7). Her hometown is Muleshoe, Texas.
Jill serves on the Dean’s Advisory Council for Texas Tech School of Pharmacy and the University of FL. She is also a Signature Bank Board Member for Bentonville. She is also a member of the Network of Executive Women. She has served in the past as a Northwest Arkansas Advisory Council Board Member for the American Diabetes Association.
Jill has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
